481. Umay 

One of the most significant stretches of beaches in the world, the Umay project is located in Grândola. Several cultural options surround about 136km from Lisbon. Archaeological stations, mining heritage and, for those who want a little distance from the hustle and bustle of the big centers, beaches. We don’t always do all the stages of a project, in our various services, sometimes we absorb concepts of architecture and licensing projects. In the Umay project, we did this with Architect Vasco Vieira, from Arqui+.

We assume the same at the execution level, which consists of scattered buildings on the land, including a main building, a spa, a greenhouse, 20 bungalows and 8 villas. In addition to the buildings, the project will have swimming pools, a family living space, child friendly, tennis and padel courts. The logic of experiencing space will favor travel using buggies and electric bicycles. One focus is on sustainability, so the development provides the installation of photovoltaic panels and the choice of mono-mass materials applied in an organic architecture, which favors views of the Alentejo landscape.
