Pedro Vieira
Founder of Wallnut. Born in 1983, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, with an ERASMUS year in the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Started his career in Riga, Latvia. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Politechnical School of Setúbal in 2012. Loves being creative at solving all sorts of problems.
Tiago Caferra
Architect
Born in 1993, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2017. Photogrammetry pioneer, partnering with the University on some projects. BIM is his playfield and we love him for it. Loves traditional folk and nerding around obscure topics.
Vera Borges
Architect
Born in 1993, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2016, and is now continuing her studies in Architectural Archaeology. Flashing her “dictator shirts” (two pockets in the front) she keeps our files in check with her OCD – and we thank her for that. Loves painting and is our on duty cinema guide.
Rúbia Tramontin
Civil Engineer
Born in 1991, graduated from the University of Extremo Sul Catarinense in 2014, with a specialization in Projects’ management and compatibility. After being responsible mods in high rise housing projects back in Brasil, crossed the ocean to join the Wallnut team. Loves puzzles and solving all sorts of challenges.
Joana Martins
Architect
Born in 1995, graduated from the ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon in 2018, with her thesis being focused on “Renders vs. Photos in Architecture”. Her nerdiness is right at home at the office, and her natural talent for graphic design shows in every project. Loves video games and chocolate.
Virgínia Pacheco
Civil Engineer
Born in 1989, graduated from ISEL – the oldest portuguese engineering school, in 2016, finishing the master’s degree in structural engineering. Wallnut’s chief engineering project designer, is also a crafter in her free time and a fan of all sorts of fantasy stories about elves, dwarves, wizards and dragons.
Kátia Fialho
Civil Engineer
Born in 1992 in exotic Rondônia State of Brazil, graduated at the University of Cuiabá in 2017. Came to Portugal in search of deepening her knowledge of construction technologies. Behind her shy nature stands a voracious reader and negotiator. Excel is her playground. With her recent REVIT training she co-develops our engineering projects at Wallnut.
Sérgio Pinho
Civil Engineer
Born in 1989. Took his engineering degree at ISEP and his masters’ at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2013. He is currently head of Wallnut’s new chapter in the North. Owner of a kind heart he’s in love with his oldtimer Toyota Hilux and for all “rust on wheels”, usually found coming up with ideas for auto themed T-shirt designs.
Filipa Monteiro
Civil Engineer
Born in 1990, graduated from ISEL in 2014, and is now finishing her master thesis at the same university with the focus on REVIT and the built environment. Dynamic and curious, she’s comfortable both on site solving issues as well as in the office punching through proposals. Loves being in shape and always glamorous.
