Pedro Vieira
CEO
Founder of WALLNUT, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, with an ERASMUS year at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Started his career in Riga, Latvia. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Politechnical School of Setúbal in 2012. His optimism and relentlessness set the sturdy foundation of WALLNUT’s values, fostering a collaborative environment where every voice is heard and decisions are made together.


Tiago Caferra
Architect
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2017 with his Master’s final project exploring photogrammetry and laser scanning in rehabilitation projects. Loves all about BIM and technology and indulges his curiosity while nerding around obscure topics. Was the first architect to join WALLNUT fresh from university and much of the present culture of the company is thanks to his work ethic and bright mind.


Rúbia Tramontin
Civil Engineer
Graduated from the University of Extremo Sul Catarinense in 2014, with a specialization in Projects’ Management and Compatibility. After being responsible for modifications in high-rise housing projects back in Brazil, crossed the ocean to explore Europe. Joined the team in 2017 and has been a cornerstone in the company, and in Pedro Vieira’s life ever since. Loves puzzles and solving all sorts of challenges.


Vera Borges
Project Manager
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2019, with a master’s thesis in Architectural Archaeology. As one of WALLNUT’s earliest members, Vera is the backbone of our operations, ensuring every project stays on track and within budget. It is thanks to her high standards and leadership that our team remains dedicated and high-performing. A compulsive movie watcher, she also loves to travel and read.

Kátia Fialho
Civil Engineer
Graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Cuiabá in 2017. She came to Portugal searching for new experiences, deepening her knowledge of construction technologies and developing our engineering projects. She is a bookaholic, passionate about art and book covers.


Nuno Coelho
Mechanical Engineer

A UNESP graduate in Architecture and Urbanism, with an exchange at the University of Lisbon, Ana now leads WALLNUT Brazil. Combining her BIM expertise with a vibrant energy, she manages high-complexity projects and drives our business expansion. Passionate about illustration and visual storytelling, she charms us all by blending technical precision with a unique creative vision that consolidates our brand’s presence in the Brazilian market.


Ricardo Simões
COO
Ricardo, our Chief Operating Officer and ISEL Civil Engineering Master, seamlessly combines technical expertise with a knack for programming. A former handball player, he now automates project tasks with code, transforming BIM data into efficient workflows. His job is his playground. Loves to play Tetris, board games and escape rooms. His humor is as convoluted as his programming: always a challenge and a delight.


Bárbara Cunha
Architect
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2007 together with Pedro Vieira, where they carved a lifelong friendship. After working in Amsterdam, Netherlands, she returned to Portugal and was dedicated to rehabilitation projects in architectural heritage. Proud mother of two and an incorrigible CD and Vinyl collector, it is music that brings her to life.


Pedro Domingos
Civil Engineer
Graduated from ISEL in 2008, has been a friend of Pedro Vieira since childhood. Used to work for WALLNUT as an advisor since 2016 and joined the team full-time in 2023, bringing value, expertise and the most sarcastic humor known to man. He loves listening to music and going to concerts. Converted to BIM in a few weeks and is always there when the architecture team presents a new proposal.


Júlia de Freitas
Civil Engineer
She graduated in Electrical Engineering from Pitágoras College in Espírito Santo, Brazil, in 2019. She has been working in Portugal since 2022, where she leads the electrical department with expertise in project development and field execution. Passionate about technology, she enjoys traveling with friends, exploring new places, and watching movies. She believes that energy, as a scientific principle, lies at the core of the universe, connecting and driving its workings.


Afonso Pessanha
Head of Brand
With a background in Product Design and a specialization in Communication Design from Politecnico di Milano, Afonso’s path began in Law, where he honed a polished rhetoric. He balances analytical thinking with creative flair, translating complex systems into clear visuals. As the guardian of WALLNUT’s brand, he ensures purposeful communication across all channels. He empowers the team through his weekly creative huddles, which everyone loves participating in.


Daniela Clara
Architect
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Daniela joined WALLNUT as a Junior Architect and quickly earned her place. Hailing from Alentejo and a former Miss Portuguesa participant, she blends grace with sharp precision and her sensitivity to shades of grey is spectacular.. Despite her apparent model naiveté, she is sharp and accurate — a force we never dare underestimate. A seasoned traveler, she also loves spending time with her beloved cats.


Aline Silva
Architect
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, Aline joined the team as a Junior Architect and is now a valued member of WALLNUT's Architecture team in Brazil. Known for her versatility and creativity, she has a passion for all forms of goodness, art and enjoys crafting things by hand. When not drawing, she can be found volunteering in one of the many projects she supports, or spending time with her family and her beloved dog.


Hayanne Lopes
Accountant
Graduated in Accounting from UNASP in São Paulo and with a post- graduate degree in Controllership Accounting from ISCAL, Hayanne has been working with a calculator since she was 17. After gaining experience at a major accounting firm, she fell in love with WALLNUT’s numbers and joined the team. Beyond her meticulous work, she ensures our pantry is stocked with healthy snacks to keep the team energized. She is a travel enthusiast, fitness fan and loves to go to the beach.


Guilherme Egídio
Electrical Engineer
Guilherme began working with us while studying Electrical Engineering at ISEL, bringing a spark of energy to the team. Proudly hailing from Beira Alta, he balances his engineering pursuits with playing football for a regional club—staunchly championing their greatness, even if the league standings suggest otherwise. His unparalleled sense of humor keeps the studio laughing, proving that wit and impeccable timing truly go hand in hand.


André David
Architect
Having graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Lisbon, André joined our team as a Junior Architect, bringing his insatiable curiosity to everything he does—constantly asking questions and uncovering new perspectives (and we wouldn’t have it any other way). A collector of board games and a lunchtime guitar player, his natural habitat is a sidewalk café, where great discussions and camaraderie come to life.


Caroline Soares
Accounting Assistant
With a background in Education and Physiotherapy, Caroline’s kind nature and dedication shine through. She gained experience in the legal department of a major Portuguese bank before joining WALLNUT, where she keeps things running smoothly and supports the accounting team. Passionate about travel and volunteer work, she’s always ready to help.


Tiago Moutinho
Mechanical Engineer
Tiago joined WALLNUT in a junior position, drawn by the synergy between architecture, engineering, and the collaborative world of BIM. Proudly from Ribatejo and holding a master’s in Energy, HVAC and Refrigeration from ISEL, Tiago may not be the loudest in the room, but he's always tuned in and ready to help. Outside the studio, you’ll likely find him swimming laps, diving into a suspense novel, or building something elaborate out of LEGO.


Bruno Sabioni
Civil Engineer
Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Bruno’s journey spans from environmental research to building homes in Rio’s favelas. He is driven by the daily synergy of multidisciplinary teamwork and has a deep interest in integrating sustainability into every project. A former handball player with a passion for the beach and his native Rio, Bruno brings a laid-back energy and environmental consciousness to the WALLNUT team.


Luis Coelho
PMO Lead
Luís is a PMP® certified Project Manager and Civil Engineer graduated from IST, specializing in complex developments and data-driven reporting. Beyond the rigor of baselines and risk assessments, he is an accomplished Portuguese Guitar player with a Bachelor’s in music and a solo album. This unique duality of engineering precision and musical soul defines his approach at WALLNUT, where he leads our PMO with both technical mastery and creative harmony.
